Astaara, the Guernsey-based integrated insurance services and risk management advisory business, announces its partnership with the Singapore Shipping Association, a representative body for the global maritime industry. Together, the companies are tackling one of the most pressing challenges in modern shipping: cybersecurity.

Singapore is taking a global lead on cyber resilience and this is led by the Maritime Port Authority.  Through the partnership, the SSA membership will be protected by Astaara’s comprehensive cyber risk and insurance solutions, ensuring greater resilience, balance sheet protection, evidence of compliance, and confidence across the sector.

With Singapore now home to nearly a quarter of global ship operations, this collaboration enables the companies to help protect up to 25% of the world’s shipping companies, safeguarding trade, data, and the future of maritime.
